Azusa Pacific 2+2 Summer 2020

Hi everyone!!

Is anyone else applying for Azusa Pacific's 2+2 transfer program for summer 2020? If so, i'd love to connect and share stats. I am currently finishing up microbiology this fall, and will be applying before the Febuary deadline!

3.72GPA

150 volunteer hours

3 years of hands on patient care experience

I'm hoping we all get in!!!

Hey there!

I remember how nerve wracking it was for me while waiting to hear back last semester so I thought I’d share my experience although it might be different since I know some of you applied to the 2+2 IE program. I applied to the LVN-BSN program. I received an email today inviting me to take a skills and written competency exam next month which is $300. I had originally applied for Spring 2020 and was denied admission. I figured I’d retake some classes to boost my GPA (Cum: 3.1/Science: 3.4) and in the meantime, I reapplied with the same application for Summer 2020 not thinking I’d get in. The email states “Your acceptance to the program is complete when you have successfully passed the written and skills competency test.” I’m pretty confident in my nursing skills and I test well so I’m not too worried about the exam. For reference I have 5 years of pediatric experience as an LVN in various settings.

Hi Maria, congratulations! I received the invitation letter from school as well today, but the name of receiver in my letter is you,Maria Alberto! So I wrote to school clarify and finally I got the right one. ?

did it get updated when you received your acceptance?

I didn’t speak with anyone about how the decision would be given but from my experience, I received a letter of denial in the mail for last semester and an email for the competency exam this semester.

Hi all! I just got the call from Hannah that I was accepted! It also showed up on my apu.edu. Good luck to all of you & cant wait to meet you!

I checked application status on the website. Also, my application was submitted 2 days before the deadline. I was accepted to their DPT program so I’m not sure if that helped but hannah said it does not.
