I went for the pre-op check-up that you have a day or two before. She was so AWSOME!!! She read through my file before I arrived (which since I have been going to that hospital since I was 2 and am now 17 is large.) when she asked for things that make me more comftorable and I said for any needles EMLA, she disided, since I was having blood work to get me an order for it for that day. Afterward when I had been waiting for a while for the Anesthesiologist to see me she noticed I was still there with the EMLA on she said "you havnt had the blood draw yet?" when I said no that I hadnt seen anyone but her she went off to find out why. she was so cool and awsome.

I wish you all the luck with your operative procedure.
I hope that you tell that nurse how great she was and how she made you feel special. You would not believe how often a kind remark, letter .......can make a huge difference in the day of a nurse.
