I am coming up on my second renewal for my license in Arkansas and I need to be sure I have all my continuing education credits. I renewed my BLS, ACLS, and NRP but I think you can only use these once. I renewed my Intermediate EFM and wondered if this could be used towards the credits. If not, does anyone know good education for labor/delivery/nursery nurses? Thanks.

You need to check with your own state's rules about CE for the specifics. However, in general the guidelines for CE require that it be NEW knowledge for you... so only the FIRST time you take a certification course will count as CE. If you take Intermediate EFM, the parts that weren't covered in your basic EFM would count as CE. But if the EFM course has been accredited as a 'whole', then you would not be able to use just a part of it for CE.
If you're looking for OB-related CE, check with AWHONN for sources & suggestions.

RN.com has a section on OB. There are also other courses you can take there. Med admin, critical thinking, and assessments are usually good for renewal CEU's
