I was once in your shoes. The great new are that most people pass the HESI even when they are scoring 60% on the CD. I was one of them. My class mates hade the same issue and only 2 failed the first time. 2 out of 27 students is not bad. They did pass after the 2 try. Good luck. Hesi is not that bad. Been there, done that. Good luck.
so do you think it is possible to pass hesi by sticking to saunders?
thanks
I totally believe so, I studied from different sources for both the HESI and the NCLEX-PN and I believe the best of all was Saunder's. Study pretty much everyhting from the book paying special attention to the gray boxes. Doing the questions from the CD and end of chapter in the book will help as well. Always look at the rationales and fully understand what the question is asking. If you are not quite sure of the answer, pick the one that involves safety or ABC's if it gives you those choices. I personally noticed, that HESI is both application and knowledge. I believe NCLEX is more application. They don't care if you know how many types of cancer's are out there. They want to know how you would keep a patient safe, and what are the things that you would consider priorities and if you would use good judgements when delegating. Good luck
I really appreciate all of your help and insight. Thank you so much for replying. Have a nice weekend.:wink2::wink2:
