I tend to ignore the entries that only say "This teacher sux!" I think those are probably the slackers and people trying to get revenge.

When I post reviews, I try to post the reasons WHY I think a teacher was good or bad. Because if I like a teacher with personal stories, someone else might not.

While not perfect, it is a very handy tool!

That's a neat site. I do agree that we should take it with a grain of salt though. It has been right on about my instructors though, and it made me feel a lot better about getting a B on a writing assignment in Humanities.

I love that site. Most of the comments I have read about my teachers are right on. There are a few ones out for revenge, but you can usually tell who they are. I wouldn't solely take or not take a class based on these ratings, unless the professor had many, many comments, all very negative, year and year.
