Average Time Spent Studying...

Published

Hi,

Just Curious how much time on average people are spending studying for the NCLEX and what percentage is dedicated to reviewing/reading vs doing questions? Even if you have passed the test already please feel free to include what you did.

Please also include what materials/books you used.

Thanks

Hi.

I worked while I studied. I did about an hour on the days I worked and on my days off I did 3-4 hours. I didn't really study... I did mostly questions. Then if I saw a trend in the questions i got wrong I would go review, but I didn't really spend a lot of time on reviewing. I spent more time reading the rationales for the questions I got right and got wrong.

I know a lot of people used Suzanne's plan and were successful. I did not and did just fine doing 75-125 questions a day.
