AVC Fall 2021

Published

Hi, anyone applying for AVC Fall 2021. I'm finally done with my prereqs and I just ordered my transcripts. Now I'm just waiting to take my TEAS before the deadline.

Does anyone know where the clinical sites will be at for this next cohort? I know they had to change things because of covid the last two semesters but I am wondering if they will start sending people back to AVH. Last I heard, they were having clinicals only at PRMC. It's not like there is plenty of options up in the valley but I was just wondering.

they’re back at AVH

And Kaiser Lancaster

yeah they might be doing all three locations

Does anyone know the tuition for the RN program at avc?

I can't seem to locate the cost on the website

It depends if your a traditional student or your bridging . If yiur traditional it’s about 5k based on the breakdown I got if yiur bridging it’s like 2,599

OK thank you! ?

I applied for the "generic " RN program.

This is my first time applying. Are all students placed on a waiting list before being accepted into the program? Or students off the waitlist are considered first before first time applicants?

They no longer have a wait list. You have to apply every semester if you want a chance to get in. I had 60 points last semester and didn't get in. I was inform that you need a minimum of 65 points, or they won't look at your application. So I took a CNA class this January for the extra 10 point. I'm hoping 70 is enough to get in for the Fall term.

It's finally May everyone! Hopefully we find out sooner than what we anticipate. Good luck everybody!

Yes good luck !! Do you know around when you’ll find out ? And it’s to start for fall?

@karina paredes they said end of May. So we are almost there ☺️.
