Avanti hospitals (East la, huntington, Memorial hospital of gardena, Coast plaza) Anyone here got an interview already? or maybe someone that knows their hiring process for new grad? any updates? thank you!

I just called and talked to a human resource personnel at coast plaza hospital and she said that they are still getting the schedule from employee Health Nurse so once they have that set up then they will contact us.

I just got contacted a few minutes ago from HR at coast plaza hospital to come in next tuesday for preemployment stuff.

You know I am not sure if the hospital that I will be working at is at Coast Plaza because I didn't ask. I went for the interview at Coast Plaza. I know I will be working in Med/Surg floor.

I got my call today from memorial Gardena for preemployment on tues next week as well. It's finally getting real!

Btw, when they offered you all the job, did they let you know what shift it was going to be for? They told me it was tbd but wondering if they mentioned anything to you all.

No i guess I didn't ask what shift it would be. I just assumed it would be day shift. Because during the interview, the lady asked in my ideal world what shift would I like to work and I said day shift. Haha I don't really care what shift. I am just happy to be employed.

When I was called and offered the position I was told what hospital, department, and shift I would be working. Still waiting on that pre-employment appointment call though :|

Glad to hear all the good news about the Avanti Hospital interviews! I also interviewed last week and still waiting for a call for pre-employment paperwork. I got accepted at Huntington park hospital, Tele unit!

Does anyone know the exact start date of the new grad program by any chance?

Is the pay rate starting at $22/hr and going to $28/hr? Did you guys get that information during the phone call with the job offer?
