Australian nurse on E3 visa in US

Hi, I am Australian Nurse with 1.5 years experience willing to relocate to US on E3 work visa.

Can any of the Nurse on E3 visa advise the procedure and any hospitals that can sponsor me.

New York, NJ and California are the places i am willing to relocate.

Any guidance will be much appreciated....

Try searching as there has been a couple of posts on E3 for Australians however they are a bit dated. Before you cross the bridge of employers you will need to get registration sorted and CA will not entertain you without a US SSN and you can not get that until in the US on a valid visa allowing you to work in the US. Also we have seen it a lot that Australian nurses struggle to meet requirements, also be aware that CA is one of the toughest states to get registered s a IEN

NJ also requires a SSN. Metro NY & NJ have an abundance of inexperienced and specialized nurses so minimal incentive to sponsor overseas nurses
