Austin Community College (ACC) ADN Spring 2022

Hey guys! I have tried to look for a group for upcoming Spring 2022 cohort, but could not find one. So, here we go. I know the process is pretty long  and confusing and many of us have questions. I though I will create this thread,  that way we can all help each other, answer questions, give suggestions and keep each other up to date on upcoming deadlines, and the whole process in general.

Hope you can join me guys! And stay safe, it is getting crazy out there again.

I've been stalking old forums to try to get a better sense of this whole process haha. 

Does a second round of acceptances solely come the amount of people who have deferred/denied? Looking at the threads from last semester, it seems like multiple people who were 1st time applicants were accepted a couple of days after the initial round. 

I feel like I'm holding my breath when I shouldn't be though. I just wish I had an actual answer so I could be at peace! ?

The second round is purely based off of people who denied or deferred their spots. I think with the numbers they gave us last application something estimated like 28 people passed on a spot.

I made it into the EVC campus! Now to get started on paperwork. Hope to see a few others at the school!

I got the CEC campus! it was my 2nd choice but I'm still happy ? and incredibly nervous too!

I heard CEC is pretty good as well. I'm wandering when they will send us information regarding books or uniforms etc.

Can somebody help me for the reapplication do we still have to do all the same steps? Castle branch, immunization?

After you have finished the Castlebranch stuff the first time you don't have to do it again. You just submit the form again when the reapplication time opens again.

@Purienne do you know if we need to input all the codes into castlebranch? or do we wait for one to clear then go to the next?

I put all the codes in that they listed. You can do them all at once, I did most of the stuff and waiting on CPR, handbook, and background check.

DId you already have CPR certification? I need to do one asap

I signed up for a class through Acc at the highland campus. On November 8th, I’ve never had a CPR certification but I called the nursing dept and they say the CPR for professionals class is accepted.
