Austin Community College (ACC) Admissions Fall 2014

Here we go, new thread for the people who weren't able to get in the Spring 2014.

Seems like every semester the number of people admitted to the course is dropping.

2013 Spring - Admitted 127

2013 Fall - Admitted 117

2014 Spring - Admitted 111

Couple of years ago they were admitting 160 students a semester, so this is a disturbing trend for us who are waiting to get in to the course.

Hey there, I did not get in for Spring 2014. That was my second time applying. The first time I applied I was still missing 2 co-reqs so I only had 41 points and did not expect to get in. I took one of them last semester, got an A, and it raised to 51. I got a petition to take skills in the spring and am doing the first session at EVC. I was just going over the calculations and after I finish stats and human growth and development this semester it looks like I will have 64.6 points. Thank God for those 5 points each review :) Does anyone know what the cut off points were for spring 2014?

Also, skills goes from 1-13 to 3-9. The application date is 2-3 to 3-31. My skills points will count right? Do you have to wait until the grades are posted to apply?

Good luck to all those applying and for those starting in Spring 2014. It is a great program! I am just finishing up Level 4. It goes by VERY fast.

You should wait until grades posted, but you have until March 31st to apply. You will definitely get in, I believe the cut off in spring 2014 was 59. Good luck.

I am currently taking nurs 1105 (it would count toward my score when I reapply though). This will be my second application with 56.76 points still unsure if it will be enough. I am curious to see how the stats requirement will affect the application pool for fall 2014. GOOD luck all!!

Othenan... Where did you get the numbers for admittance? I thought they admitted more for the spring.

I applied even though I haven't finished skills and they said they received it and would process it after skills was complete.

Hey guys, just completed my skills class at EVC and found this website. Hopefully we can keep it going as we start this womderful journey. I did my re-app and ofcourse they will update ranking after grades have been posted. wishing all of us good luck and hopefully we can get in the F2014 class

My name is Albert. I, too, am applying for the fall 2014 class. I am estimating my point total to be 60.49. With that being said, I did receive notification earlier this week that I will be receiving a TBON background check later this week. Did anyone get this message?

I think 62 points got accepted Spring 2014.
