Wow you had a great GPA! Is it hard
to keep up your gpa in nursing school? Wondering because I looked into schools with dnp programs and if you have a 3.5 you don't have to take the GRE. Just food for thought, I've got awhile before even worrying about that :)
I am not going to lie. Nursing school is hard work. It is different then your gen eds that you would study for. The grading scale is higher than the regular grading scale. So yes, it is hard to maintain your GPA. My GPA is no where near what it used to be. But on the other hand it's achievable.
All Nursing schools are this way. Aurora is a great school.
I am a current student at Aurora University applying for the nursing program for fall of 2015. I received an 84 on my TEAS and I have a 3.9 GPA, so I'm not terribly worried about acceptance. I do know though that they expanded the program, and I heard that they were accepting a TEAS test of a 64 and higher. The acceptance letters are supposed to be out this week, can't wait any longer!
