Yes, I have applied. I am waiting for everything to verify through NursingCAS.

Hey Everyone,

I applied for Fall 2021 as well! I received an email saying my application is being reviewed - I'm SO NERVOUS but also so excited! Out of curiosity, what was everyone's undergrad GPA & how much healthcare experience do you guys have? I'm trying to get a better understanding of if/where/how I fit in to what they're looking for!

My undergrad GPA is 3.42 and I have zero healthcare experience. I am a full-time teacher. I hope that doesn't hurt me too much since the program is for people with non-nursing bachelors. My prereq GPA is 4.0 with 2 classes left and my TEAS score was about a 93%. How about you?

I don't know if this helps since I haven't been admitted or denied yet.

What date exactly did you submit your application?

Does anyone know how long it takes for the admission committee to "review" your application before you hear from them?

I haven’t heard anything since 10/21. The email says it can take up to 8 weeks to receive the decision in the mail.

My application status has said “incomplete” since I submitted my application on Oct 29th. I’ve submitted everything and it’s starting to make me nervous. Does anyone else’s say that?

I believe it too soon to get an answer. They said it takes anywhere from 6-8 weeks to hear back. They said they are still accepting applicants for the early cycle and besides, there is 150 applicants so far (last I checked- Nov. 4th). So imagine they have to go through all those applications plus thanksgiving break is coming up which I am sure will delay the process even more.. Last years early cycle applicants had the same deadline as us and did not hear back till mid February despite the January 15th timeline.

Understood and thanks for the info. I'm just wondering about whether or not your application status says "incomplete" rather than whether or not you have an answer yet. I want to make sure there's no issue with my application not being completed. If they have that many applications then it makes more sense that mine wouldn't be marked complete yet though.

Okay I understand you. I submitted my application through NursingCas so I’m wasn’t aware you can do an application status check
