Augusta University 2020 CRNA Applicants

Nursing Students Post Graduate

Published

I just wanted to see if there was anyone else out there on allnurses that is currently applying for entrance into Augusta University's CRNA program starting Spring 2020.

Last year we were notified by mail. The letter came before the end of May...

Do they call if you got waitlisted ? Or just for acceptance ?

GPA 3.72, GRE: 304, ICU : 1 year by start date, Volunteer work , preceptor, and currently taking classes.

Hey! I am looking to apply for Spring 2021, and I will have just barely completed my year of ICU nursing by the start of the program. Do you think that holds a lot of weight in their decision making?

My stats are 3.57 GPA, 304 GRE, I’ve been a nurse for 4 years in the Military, Being in the military has given me lots of different leadership roles. I was just worried about my ICU work experience. I’m projecting by the time of the interview I would have only been in my ICU job for about 4 months.

I would say go for it, worst case you earn the experience and make yourself known. Talk about your experiences as a military nurse, those might be strengths as well. Experience does give you points but only so much does. That’s not the only thing they look at.
