Augusta University BSN Fall 2021

Hey! Im currently applying to Augusta University's BSN program and wanted to start this thread so we can share our application process experiences and make some connections! 

Specializes in Student, AEMT.

@jmt131 I haven't heard anything from them about being denied. I've also only heard of people getting accepted to athens too. A similar, equally weird thing happened to me too. I got an email addressing only nursing students to send in their immunization records or they'd be pulled from clinicals. How the heck did my name get on they list if I haven't even been accepted yet?? 

It's just really frustrating. If I'm not getting in, I just want to know now. I don't know why it has to be drawn out.

That's so weird... I completely agree. That's the boat I am in too. I got into another program that starts June 1st, but Augusta is my first choice! I just need to know so I can get things rolling here haha.. fingers crossed and prayers for us.

@jmt131 Congratulations on the other program! I got into an ADN one out of state. so either way I'm moving forward. But I really wanted augusta LOL

At this point I’ve given up on AU tbh. Thankfully I got into another nursing program so I’m not as stressed anymore. But the waiting is too much.

@PurpleMouse0418Thank you!! It's a private program so I will go if I have to, but I am really trying to stay hopeful! I have definitely done a lot of praying for this so we will see.. 

@Nursingschoolhopeful21 Yeah, it's strange to me the cut off is so late comparatively to the other schools I applied to/ heard about. If going off of the trends of others, we should hear back within the next two weeks.

Hello! I got accepted to the Athens campus a few weeks ago. I was wondering if anyone else who got accepted would want to exchange numbers, snapchats, or make a group message? For any questions and also just to get to meet some people! I am so excited for the fall and would love to have some familiar faces on the first day(:

Hey! I am still waiting to hear back. Do you mind sharing your numbers (TEAS and such.) congratulations!!

Thank you! I don't mind at all! My GPA is a 3.56 and my TEAS was an 82. I have some friends who applied and still haven't heard back (some had higher scores than me and some had lower). They got in contact with someone from AU and they said that they send the acceptances out in cycles and that their applications are still under review. LMK if you have any other questions ( I may not know the answer but I will try my best)! Good luck!!

@kfields1234 Thank you!! My nursing core GPA is a 3.9. I'm not sure if AU does that too. I know the other 3 programs I applied to does. My overall is a 3.4. I got a 90 on the TEAS. I used to be a biology major and HATED it. I'm 23 and a lot wiser now ha! Congratulations for getting in again! I wonder how long until everyone hears back..
