Hi, guys! I have applied to Augusta University's BSN program-Athens Campus for the Fall of 2018 and wanted to start a thread to compare stats and experiences with the application process. Comment below if you are planning on applying or already have applied! I mainly am just so eager to find out if I got in or not. Fingers crossed!

Nothing in the mail for me today :( wondering if Augusta sends the letter out the same day they change your status or like a day later...I'm going out of town Thursday for the weekend but I have a feeling my letter won't be here until at least Thursday night when I'll already be gone!!

I heard that they change statuses on different days but chose one day to send all the letters for the round out. Good luck!

I haven't received mine yet and my status changed on March 2nd.

Ok, I didn't want to make a completely different thread (sorry), but I need some quick advice! I previously commented that I got accepted into the program, and I plan on attending, but I also had a microbiology prerequisite to fulfill, and I was going to finish it over the summer. But this morning during registration I found both sections were full (I'm a sophmore so I had to wait after priority athletes, seniors and juniors). I'm not sure exactly what to do other than waitlist? Should I ask if Augusta Tech's microbiology course is a transferable credit to AU? Is there anyone you think I should email?

Where do you live and where did you get accepted to, Athens or Augusta? (Sorry my phone is being slow and won't let me go back and find where you posted).

I live in Augusta, and I got accepted to the Augusta campus. I wouldn't put myself past having to travel or taking a summer dorm because waiting a whole year because of one class would really hurt lol

I would definitely check online classes too from random universities. Some do online micro. I had to take mine at a technical college because of the same issue so I bet they would accept it from Augusta Tech. Check on their transfer equivalency!

If anyone finds an online micro class that's transferable, let me know!! I still have to take micro as well and would love to take it online so I can continue working full time through the summer :)
