Published

Hello Everyone! Is anyone here planning to apply to AU MSN/CNL program for Fall 2019? Also, is anyone here who is currently in the program? Too bad the forum doesnt let me PM yet to users. [h=1][/h]

For anyone who had the GRE waiver, how long until your application was no longer showing as incomplete? I just tried calling admissions again and they said the same thing but I had an overall of 3.43 so I met the requirement..

My status changed from incomplete to decision made. I never got an “under review” status update on the app site. Now that I have an email and background consent form, the GRE score is still listed under the required documents. I called about it as well. I’m assuming it’s just something that never goes away.

The 2/18 under review date was the Emily email asking for form. When did you get that email from her?

I got an email from the school on 1/23 saying under review, and on 1/31 Emily emailed me with the form to fill out. I emailed her again on 2/11 to make sure she got the form, and on 2/12 she said they had all that they needed from me at that time. That was the last update I had and I don't know if that was a good or bad sign.

Same here. I submitted my app before both of yall and still no word. I hope it's not a bad sign :(

Submitted mine 12/10, under review 12/12, told 1/16 that a decision was made, called 2/19 for an update and was called back and told that they were missing a transcript on the school end but that NursingCAS had it (that was the hold up) so I resubmitted to the school directly. Was told they have everything on 3/1 and the decision was still made. I have been doing weekly check-in's through email and was told that it could be about a month before I will get anything in the mail. My status still says incomplete.

My friend was waitlisted back in December but suddenly his status gave him an email (it used to say not applicable) and a background check requirement. Hopefully that's a good sign though he hasn't gotten a call yet! So maybe they're making decisions based on waitlisters as well.

I also was waitlisted in December and noticed that my status also just gave me an email and a background check form but I have not heard anything yet either. Hopefully this is good news for both of us!

I reached out to Emily yesterday and just got a response back saying that a decision has been made and my letter should be mailed out this week

How are you guys contacting Emily? When I call or email I talk to Nori. I used to talk to Emily but now it’s always Nori.

Did you reach out by email? I'm wondering if I should do the same.

Who exactly do you call, and what do you ask them? I've considered calling but don't know what to ask without sounding pushy or impatient.

I just responded to the email I received from her with the forms. I reached out yesterday afternoon and she got back to me this morning.

Yes, I reached out by email. I responded to the email she had sent with the forms. I emailed her around 4pm yesterday and she emailed me back this morning around 9am.

I had a couple specific questions to ask her, but unfortunately she said she won't be able to answer them until I get my packet. Pretty much they can only answer if a decision has been made. Just FYI. I emailed her on Friday, but sent a follow up email today and she responded to that. Because of the nature of my questions she couldn't really answer them. She said once I get my packet let her know and we can discuss everything...haha.
