Augusta Univ-MSN/CNL- Fall 2019 Entry

Hello Everyone! Is anyone here planning to apply to AU MSN/CNL program for Fall 2019? Also, is anyone here who is currently in the program? Too bad the forum doesnt let me PM yet to users. [h=1][/h]

I've called but they haven't sent it out yet unfortunately.

Have you reached out to Emily to see if a decision had been made? I know they said the application status portal doesn't get updated as often for those who applied through NursingCAS. Mine also says incomplete and that I am missing my GRE scores but I met the requirements for the waiver and the college of nursing said they had everything they needed.

A few weeks ago I emailed her to make sure they didn't need anything else from me considering the portal said it needed my transcripts. She responded by saying they had all they needed from me at the time, so I figured all I could do was wait. It seems after looking at this thread today though that there are still people who applied even longer ago than me and are still waiting.

Can I ask how you know the letter was sent to admissions? Is this the decision?

I called the department and asked. I was told the decision was made by the committee and that the decisions would be sent to admissions. I called admissions and found out that one person is responsible for putting the info in the system and mailing the letters out. For ALL programs. That’s why it takes so long for the letters to actually get mailed out.

I was accepted into the ABSN program back in Dec and my status didn’t change online to “Decision made; letter in the mail” until the day before I received the letter. So there’s no telling when the status online will actually change.

My application status was updated today! I have an Augusta email so I’m hoping that it’s a good sign. I applied for the Athens Campus, but it changed to main campus. I emailed Emily to see why it changed because in the paperwork I listed the main campus as unable to accept. Does anyone else have any insight to this?

Did it ask you for a background check? And I’m glad someone finally got a status change. Maybe I’ll finally seen mine Monday lol

Just checked my status and it’s been updated. I have a school email now and the background consent form. I hope this is a good sign! I’m still very nervous.
