Augusta Univ-MSN/CNL- Fall 2019 Entry

Hello Everyone! Is anyone here planning to apply to AU MSN/CNL program for Fall 2019? Also, is anyone here who is currently in the program? Too bad the forum doesnt let me PM yet to users. [h=1][/h]

I think everyone has to apply through NursingCas. I called admissions and they were able to update my status from incomplete to "under review" after i sorted everything out with my transcripts.

MY STATUS CHANGED TODAY!

I got assigned a university email and asking for information regarding a background check! Applied to Augusta campus. I'm so excited after waiting 5 months...I thought I was late to the game in applying.

That's exciting! When did you apply? I applied in early January and still haven't had a status change.

I was waiting on one letter of rec to submit for about a month. Application completed on Dec 24th. Received email on Jan 24th saying application was under review. There must have been something wrong with my transcripts because I had to submit a form to Emily on Jan 31st.

Congrats!!! Applied at the end of Dec. and my app was review on Friday. Still waiting tho. Would you mind sharing your stats and undergrad major?

Sure! Obviously my grades do not make me a stellar candidate, but I have tons of healthcare experience.

Cum GPA 3.18
Major: Microbiology
Experiences: almost 3 years as an ED tech, working in a lab, volunteering with community orgs, attending a week-long public health seminar, shadowing NPs/PAs, certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS

That’s awesome! I have 2 yrs working in healthcare and a little research and volunteer experience but not a whole lot of other extracurricular experience unfortunately. My gpa’s not competitive at all bc of really old grades but I hope they take into consideration how high my grades in my major classes were (Biology Major). I wish you luck in the program and I hope to see you there!

Mine still says incomplete and I have been working with them because apparently a transcript didn’t get crossed over from NursingCAS to them. I am hoping that’s a good sign but I submitted my application dec 12th and was told a decision was made back in early January. My GPA is 3.26 (old grades kept it low, my bachelors degree and prerequisites has been all A’s with two B’s) healthcare management and leadership bachelors and 8 years administration and clinic experience.

Called the school and at the last meeting they sent out 45 offers and have 50 seats left

If your app is under review, how long do they generally take to get back to you?
