Augusta Univ-MSN/CNL- Fall 2019 Entry

Hello Everyone! Is anyone here planning to apply to AU MSN/CNL program for Fall 2019? Also, is anyone here who is currently in the program? Too bad the forum doesnt let me PM yet to users. [h=1][/h]

Yes! I submitted it before the deadline because they said we could turn in references and transcripts after the deadline. Dang it! I should have just entered them in myself. I had five and I thought they could do it faster and I didn't realize they don't transcribe them until after you submit your application. Maybe there is a chance. we will see!

Hi everyone, would love some input on my current situation. I submitted my application through NursingCAS at the beginning of January. I paid for the supplemental application at the end of January and my application has been verified. When I check my status it is still showing incomplete due to the GRE scores but I was well over the minimum GPA for undergrad so no need to submit them. I emailed admissions on Monday and they said no further action is needed from me at this time. I guess what I would like to know is about how long until you heard back on your application in terms of moving forward to an interview or rejected? I am also an alumni of Augusta University so not sure if that helps at all but I am so anxious and praying that I get in this year. Any advice/encouragement would help!

They aren’t doing interviews anymore, so that cuts some time out. I applied and was under review Nov. 26 and I got my acceptance January 12th. I think they are super behind so I would definitely expect for a letter to come in 8 weeks. Maybe even more.

Wait, are you saying they have cut out the interview portion and they are just doing acceptance/rejection based on your application? Or, they aren't doing interviews anymore because they are no longer accepting students at all?

No interviews because it is based solely off application.

If it let you submit it then you should be fine!

Were you waitlisted? I heard you have a very good chance if you are. I was already accepted to the BSN starting in May and I’m nervous I may be waitlisted bc some ppl don’t get in until right before the program starts. So I’d have to deny the other program in hopes that I get into this one ?

Yes I was waitlisted in November and was told I could hear back anytime from then until July... I wish I knew where I stood on the waitlist as I haven't been able to find out much info. Hopefully you won't have to worry about it and you'll hear good news!
