How do we start a new forum?

There seem to be quite a few of us students who are taking Independent Study/Distance learning classes. Threads have popped up now and then, but easily disappear. I've had a few p.m.s..

Since our situation is somewhat unique, it would be helpful to have a place--like a forum--for us to visit regularly and exchange information.

I know new forums started recently for Australia nurses and U.K. nurses, but i don't know how it was done. And since this forum has several moderators, I wasn't sure who to ask. Would one of you be interested in helping us/moderating us/allowing us to have Independant Study and/or Distance Learning forum? (I can't think of what it should be called.) Thank you.

You would need to PM BRian with this request, and if he sets it up I'd be happy to moderate, or you can pick someone from your group that would be willing to moderate.
