Hello anyone who got accepted to any of the entry level programs
I would love to get an idea what your admission profile was like to see what my chances might be for getting accepted to the Master Entry level program. I've been searching the site and I just find scattered information about the subject. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Here's my profile for comparison:
Bachelor of Science with minor in health, GPA 3.93, graduated Summa Cum Laude
All science prerequisites 4.0
TEAS exam 99% national ranking
I speak fluent Spanish and some French, too
In my personal statement I'm looking for a leadership role and ultimately become university professor teaching future generations of nurses.
Certificate in fitness studies (personal trainer for 3+ years)
I have been working in a home health organization for 2+ years directly supporting Clinical Director (great recommendation letter from an RN). I left my previous job of 15 years in marketing to pursue career in nursing.
I volunteered in a hospital for about 1/2 year
I've been told that near perfect GPA/scores are not enough for these programs. The personal statement, work experience, recommendation letters, and such weight a lot in the decision as well. So, who gets in?
I really have given my all (and then some) with the hope of getting in some program. I hope that counts for something.
Thank you everyone for any guidance!

Just FYI for those interested - this is where I got accepted:
CSULA, CSUN, CSU Dominguez, and some other schools. I did not get accepted to UCLA which is OK.
