:yeah:HI!
I would like to inform everyone that Atlas Rehabilitation LLC is a legitimate agency and I have verified it under the state of Alabama. They actually petitioned for my H1B visa and I was approved.

A few things that you need to be aware of:
And nothing to do with this company at all, just wanted to make that clear.
Just becasue a company is registered with a state does not make thinbgs always kosher with the state. It states that they have registered their business, but has nothing else to do with anything other than that. Same way that a company has a beautiful webiste, it can be run out of someone's bedroom and not really exist at all as to what they would want you to think. It it quite easy to have a website up and running in a very short time with all of the software that is available now.
H1-B visas are also being investigated by the US government right now as they were meant to go to specialists and only 11% have. If you do not have significant work experience, then you are not considered a specialist at all, no matter what the company tells you.
H1-B visas require the BSN, as well as license in that state and the VSC before one can even apply for it. And this company is not exempt from the cap on H1-B visas so next time to apply is April, 2009 for a start date that following October, and under a lottery system as well.
Best of luck to you but be careful and understand that the H1-B visa can be cancelled at any time by the employer of the US government and there will be nothing that you can to change that.
One reason why these visas are not liked by most facilities. And if they are able to hire with it, it means that they are not able to get enough Americans or green card holds willing to work in a facility and that should set off red flags to anyone especially with the economy the way that it is here now. We now have over 6% unemployment so it is going to be much more difficult for an employer to spend the money for the foreign nurse with this visa and the US government requires that the employer pay !00% of the fees, not one penny can come from the employee or get taken from their pay later on.

I am confused the business I see is a traveling nurse company. How can a traveling nurse agency provide a position when they don't employ you? Also I have never known a traveling nurse agency hire specialist..
Every single travel nurse company that I am aware of will only employ a foreign nurse if they hold an actual green card in hand. Have not seen them employ anyone with the H1-B visa legally.
And since the H1-B visas are currently be investigated by the US government, things could be changing for those that got them thru this company.
The other thing is that they are not exempt from the visa cap and there are only 65,000 issued per year to all professions. Next date to apply is not until April of next year for a start in October of 2009. Chances of getting one is going to be quite slim at best, the US government is the one that issues the visa, not the agency.

can anybody tell me if their h1b visa for nurse has been approved? just a thought. ALEXK49 is correct, h1b for nurses with special area only but how come the work offer is traveling nurse? Im also confused.
I doubt travel nurses are being offered real contracts. Travel nursing works well went places can't find nurses and the can hire more expensive nurses to fill holes. This is not the case, there are a glut of nurses in most US places.
There is not one travel nursing agency that I am aware of that can hire with the H1-B category, and I do not know of one that will hire if the nurse does not possess a green card as well as experience working in the US for at least a year.
Only exception to this are nurses from Canada that can work here with the NAFTA TN Visa.

Please be leary of this company. Their website is beautiful and very inviting but it seems that there is something not right going on behind closed doors there. The office staff changes daily or weekly. You can NEVER talk to the same person twice, it seems as though they just leave. They do not honor their agreements with the rental properties that they place their nurses at. I would be extremly careful in doing ANY type of business with THIS company.:no:
