I have! Got an email today for a phone interview!! I'm excited..and nervous! I sooo want this!!

Where have you been applying for tech jobs? Atlantic Health was hiring for per diem nursing assistant positions for awhile. And I was just told by HR at Beth Israel that St. Barnabas is hiring for pt nursing assistants as well..

I have been applying for tech jobs, but so far no luck. I have only been applying to be a tech in a speciality I think I want, so I am limiting myself. It might be time to apply to everything!

Definitely! You should appy anywhere and everywhere to get a foot in. Once you're there for 6 months, apply for a transfer! Luckily, I got a position in cardiac and fell in love with it!

I'll let you know how the interview goes! My friend was called back for an in-person interview!

Can I request something? Would you by any chance PM me your resume and/or cover letter? Take off the personal info of course. I feel like I am missing something not to have gotten even one call. I know competition is tough, but I am one of the top students, so I thought I would at l;east get a call.

I am in the same boat its really frustrating. I am one of the top students in my class and haven't received a call. I contacted a recruiter about a month ago and she said I would hear either way by the end of April...it's May 4th... is it because I have no hospital experience (I thought that was the point of the externship) or because I don't have any family members that work there. It seems that is the way people get in these days...they know somebody. It's really unfair. I'd like to know what it is on some peoples resumes that make them give them an interview and not me... if you figure it out let me know lol.
