ATL Nurse Residencys Winter 2022

hello,

I haven't seen a thread yet for new grad nurse residencies starting in feb/march 2022. Thought id make a thread to post updates. So far I have applied to CHOA, Emory, Wellstar, and Piedmont-waiting for Northside and Grady to open up

Definitely CICU for me. Did your recruiter send you the unit list with types of patients and machines frequently used for each unit? That was very helpful!

hey!! I was wondering if anyone has heard anything from emory? I’m not from atlanta so I’m not sure what the usual time frame is for them. thanks :)

I applied and haven't heard anything yet. I know they do all of their interviews virtually over like two days for the residencies. In an info session with the recruiter, they said they thought the days would be October 12-13 but that's next week and I still haven't heard about it so I am unsure if they may be behind or if that's normal.

Yes I have. It went well! They asked a majority of behavioral questions like tell me time you had a conflict, a time you had to make a difficult decision and etc.  

Received 4 offers from Piedmont today! Their ortho, renal, med-surg, and oncology units ?
