hello,
I haven't seen a thread yet for new grad nurse residencies starting in feb/march 2022. Thought id make a thread to post updates. So far I have applied to CHOA, Emory, Wellstar, and Piedmont-waiting for Northside and Grady to open up

Where are y’all seeing the information for 2022 start date? Because I’m only seeing Fall 2021.

The nurse recruiter asked me for dates/times I am available to talk on the phone about opportunities in the RN residency program.
Were you able to find the information for Spring 2022 residency for Northside?

Looks like I need to hurry and apply! I hope to do so by Monday.. I’m just waiting on my mentor to finish tweaking my resume.
Also, I did not find information for the Spring 2022 Northside residency!
Hello everyone! I have applied to CHOA, Emory, Northside, Piedmont, and Wellstar. Have an interview and shadowing with CHOA mid Sept. Had phone convo with Wellstar recruiter, and have one with Piedmont next week. I'm internal with Northside but they're pretty slow about hiring processes just from experience. Hoping to hear from Northside by the time I interview with CHOA as those are my top two choices.
Best wishes to you all. It will be nice to keep each other updated.
Also, FYI Grady just opened their residency position as well.

What specialties did you apply for at Wellstar and Piedmont? And did you complete the digital interview for CHOA?
Yes, I completed the digital interview with CHOA. NICU, pediatrics, and ICU with Wellstar and NICU, ICU, & women’s services at Piedmont. Wellstar told me they do not hire new grads for their pediatric departments but I have 6 yrs as a ped nurse (LPN) so not sure if anything will come of that. ??♀️ We shall see.

How were the questions on the digital interview for CHOA??
Weird that Wellstar doesn't hire new grads in peds, but im sure they would be flexible with you since you have so much peds experience!
