In our ekit, i've sent out ativan and abh for a prostate cancer patient, who also is blind secondary to long hx of glaucoma (don't know if wide angle or narrow angle). Package insert says not to use ativan and abh in narrow angle glaucoma. there

is nothing else at the house, wife doesn't drive and pharmacy is closed today (of course).

Is ativan and abh ok to use even though patient has hx glaucoma...he is completely blind.

thanks for your help.

Hhhhmmmm...good question. I love to admit that I don't really know, but sure seems like you would be correct in your estimation that the damage is already done...can you get worse than blind when it comes to glaucoma?
