I'm actually in the nursing program now. everything has been happening so fast. tHEY THROUGH A LOT OF THINGS AT YOU, in the beginning. I guess its to weed out all the people that are not really ready for this major. There was so much work to be turned in, pre-clinical clearances, certifications, etc. That I know how some people quit before they get ahead.
Our class is the first one to incorporate the ATI testing modules in the curriculum and it is exhausting. Aside from the 50 page reading assignments that are assigned each week, we are also required to complete these modules which take hours to complete.
Generally, it is repetitive so I guess it helps me retain the information, but I don't think that it should be required in the curriculum. Its already hectic as it is.
What are your thoughts on it? Do you think ATI should be added to your curriculum at your school?

My school is the exact same way. What's worse is when your syllabus says "All Modules" and then one of your faculty will go "No, You just needed to first two." Wonderful. So what did I I spent three hours on the other ones for!?
I can't offer you any advice, unfortunately. I feel like I am drowning between all the reading assigned and the ATI. My Lab Professor, however, did advise me to use the ATI as a supplement/tool, rather than a focus. And that I should be focusing on the text and reading and then using the ATI (and the Pearson NursingLab) as tools in addition, but not to sacrifice the book and concept reading for the online modules.

I find the ATI helps me study for the tests. I do all of my ATI questions before my tests for the week. I usually spend Monday afternoon doing ATI. I like it so far. It's just an aid like the PP said to help you.
