  1. I'm actually in the nursing program now. everything has been happening so fast. tHEY THROUGH A LOT OF THINGS AT YOU, in the beginning. I guess its to weed out all the people that are not really ready for this major. There was so much work to be turned in, pre-clinical clearances, certifications, etc. That I know how some people quit before they get ahead. Our class is the first one to incorporate the ATI testing modules in the curriculum and it is exhausting. Aside from the 50 page reading assignments that are assigned each week, we are also required to complete these modules which take hours to complete. Generally, it is repetitive so I guess it helps me retain the information, but I don't think that it should be required in the curriculum. Its already hectic as it is. What are your thoughts on it? Do you think ATI should be added to your curriculum at your school?
  2. They told me that usually by the first day payments are due, a lot of housing frees up, but i want something guaranteed.
  3. Thanks so much! My school is pretty small but I'll check local listings.
  4. I'm finally about to enter the nursing program! That was the easy part lol! Now i have to stay in the program. All the preparation had me stressed out. Background checks, pre-clinical health screenings etc. Thank God my schools health insurance kicked in because i didn't have health insurance and i didn't know how i was going to pay for a physical and bloodwork without it. Nursing school is so expensive! I still have to get a stethoscope and BP cuff. I'll figure out something. The only thing I'm really worried about is housing. I have eight classes this semester including labs and i need to live around my school. I live an hour away so i hope everything comes together.
