Hello,
I applied and received my acceptance letter yesterday.
Do you mind sharing your GPA and nln scores?
I got my letter today, they put me on the alternate list. Any information on that?
No, I don't mind. I made an 85 on NLN and combined core class GPA was 3.7.
Great! Congrats on getting accecpted!! Do you guys have a cut off on when you have to let them know if you are taking the seat or not?
From my understanding if someone declines the offer they will pull from the alternate list. They won't tell me how many people are on the list or where I'm ranked. í ½í¸‘ I have a 3.7gpa but only a 73on the nln. I've always been a poor test taker regardless if I get the stuff or not lol! I have my fingers crossed that I'm high on the list, and that I will be joining you guys in the fall!
Thank you. There is not a specified date as to when you are required to reserve your seat according to my letter just an orientation date of June 1. It does say to reserve your seat as quickly as possible. As far as the NLN test, I bought the NLN guide that came with the practice test CD. I timed myself on the English and math portion over and over for about two months before I tested. I think that it helped. Good luck and never give up.
I still have my fingers crossed for this year, but if not I'll be sure that they can't tell me no next year! I have the same book and used it for studying this past time. I have terrible test anxiety. Always have. I plan on getting it back out and preparing for my next attempt. I'm pretty hopeful for this year though! Congrats again! Thank you for your response! Hopefully a few others will find this form.

Hi, I am wanting to apply to Athens tech too, I have taken all the classes required and taken NLN as well. My score is a 122 being in the 78% percentile! Can anyone give me any feedback?
Hello, and congrats on passing the NLN! As you may already know they will combine your 5 core classes with your NLN score. I made an 85 on the NLN and still got in despite the myths of needing a score of 90 or higher to get in. Granted I did have some As but I also had a few Bs, I still got into the program. So, my feedback will be this, it will depend on what you made on your NLN along with your 5 core classes whether or not you get in. The good news is that they take around 50 students at a time.
