Hi y’all
I’m at a bit of a career crossroads and looking for some ideas. Out of the box ideas are just as welcome as obvious choices!
I am a 10-year RN, with BSN and MSN (administration). Much of my experience has been in the ED, along with various other jobs including telephonic care management, telephone triage, as well as a couple brief leadership roles. I’m currently on a medical LOA from my current position and curious about what other possibilities may exist.
My “wish list” for a future position includes no bedside nursing, no purely telephonic positions, a schedule of office hours without nights, weekends, call, or significant overtime expectations. Any new position absolutely needs to be a low-stress situation. A work from home position would be fine.
I’ve looked at things like quality improvement and legal nurse consulting. Does anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks in advance to anyone who replies. ?
