ASU Post-Baccalaureate BSN 2018 - Welcome

U.S.A. Arizona

Hello!

I am a current post-bacc student at ASU. I am starting a thread for those applying to the 2018 program. Last year we had fantastic support from the 2016 class (and still have support from them today), so we are extending this help to the 2018 hopefuls as well! The feed for our class last year was an invaluable resource, so use this one to ask for advice or get answers to your"burning" questions (nursing school reference…you will see)!

Good luck to you all!

I emailed my advisor yesterday to find out, well, anything. He has no averages or info yet, ie, for advancement scores. He said everything is still being calculated, over 90 students applied. I asked if the time line is still early November, he replied, that they're expecting that. But, if you scroll through previous years, it seems to change a bit. I don't have Facebook, so I am right there with you.

I am going a little crazy myself. :)

I highly suggest making one even if you don't use it for anything but to communicate with the group! During this waiting period/intro period before school starts I think it'll be super valuable. Once we actually start and see each other in class, you may not feel the need to communicate via Facebook but it's been really nice to hear suggestions and advice and feedback! 10/10 recommend (:

If anyone who has been admitted comes across this page we made another group. Search ASU PBCNP Class of 2018. Feel free to introduce yourselves and friend other members of our cohort.

Hello everyone!

I'm wondering what happens if a student is struggling in this program (ASU Post-baccalaureate nursing), like if they're not passing. Do they get kicked out or what happens?

I know in the community colleges if students fail a block, they kick them out or make them wait then repeat the block or something like that.

anyone in this program already, please share how hard it is, especially for those who

have small children, is it doable? is it impossible or next to impossible to do?

any information is appreciated
