I have a 3 years nursing degree from Cuba. I want to get into a nurse practitioner program but they are asking me if I have a BSN? How do I know if I have it or it is just an associates. And if it is an associates, how long will it take me to complete the BSN? Thanks

wow , I dunno either call your Cuban school.

I don't know what Cuba's rules are and how they transfer to the states but a BSN here is usually 4 years and an AA or AS is usually 2.

Well, if BSN is 4 years and associates is 2 I am kind of in between. I guess I have to wait for the evaluation of credentials and just take it from there. Thank you all.

that's exactly what I was going to say, since the other responses did not say anything about that. Definitely have your degree evaluated.
