Does anyone have some really good tools that they have used to make your auscultating heart and lungs sound skills stronger? i want to be more than just average at these skills since they are so vital to us with assessments.

Google is amazing.
I put in "breath sounds" and got this great link that includes heart sounds.
The title of the website is of all things "The Auscultation Assistant"

besides a GOOD quality steth...I would have to say that google would do it...there are lots of websites out there that allow you to hear different sounds. Once you hear severe crackles/rales/afib/or mechanical valves...you don't forget em. the first or second times take some getting used to...but you'll file them away in memory.
