Hello all!
I'm really looking forward to submit my CRNA application! I'm a 24y/o male from Michigan with 3 years of nursing experience- 1 year in pulmonary care and 2 years in a surgical ICU. Receiving my Masters in Anesthesia has been a goal of mine ever since I started my nursing program 5 years ago. I believe I meet the requirements (grades, recommendations, volunteering, certifications, etc..). I have shadowed in the OR, and I absolutely love it! With that being said, I was hoping if any CRNA's on this forum can share with me their personal experiences/professional insight on the job (good/bad), also, the job outlook on the field itself. I've heard plenty of rumors that discouraged me in applying..such as the job outlook in the next 5-10 years, wages, job availability, and so forth..
Basically, anything that can give me more confidence in knowing that I am making the right decision!
Thank you!
Hussien, RN-BSN
