I will start my first semester in an accelerated nursing program on the 22nd. I cant ell you how excited I am to know that I am finally going to be that much closer to my goal of becoming a CRNA. I have researched a little on what it takes such as a BSN and critical care experience. I am sure that there are steps that I am not aware of and I am hoping for a little advice. What does it take? Is there a high demand? What are the pros and cons? What schools have the program? Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer up some ideas.
My best advice 4.0 GPA
My best advice 4.0 GPA
Absolutely unnecessary, and such advice can be pretty demoralizing. Most programs require a 3.0 GPA to apply. After that, each school will have their own criteria. Certainly, you want to do as well as you possibly can in nursing school, but I do know some admissions committees tend to be as wary of a student with a 4.0 as they are of a student with a 3.0.
My advice is to start with the CRNA FAQ at the top of the list.
