That is a pretty good GRE score I think it's pretty competitive. You GPA is not bad but it's not stellar either. As far as the one year Trauma ICU well my firend no only will that enhance your options it is required by the AANA (1 year critical care).

And then some. Money should never be a worry when going to CRNA school. I always suggest atleast taking out the stafford loans. If you end up working for the VA or some other federal employer or military they will pay back $20,000 / year in federal loans (not sure what the total payout is) and trust me those that think they know where they want to work when they get our into practice most change their mind once in school. Sometimes employers will pay more towards student loans than a sign on bonus so even if you don't need the stafford put it in a CD earning 4.5 -5% interest while in school.

CRNA school is not a cookbook approach it's putting together concepts to formulate an answer from a MASSIVE amount of theory thrown at you. The GRE is pretty simple math and some infrequently used vocabulary words.

I am currently an SRNA and wonder if anyone has ever purchased this software or know anything about it. This seems like it might be a good complement to the virtual gas machine website I have been using during school.

When I was traveling I was making over $130,000 per year as a traveling RN. That is where the money is.

Money is a pwerful motivator and I personally don't think it indicates a level of care. However, if you do not like your job no amount of money is going to make you happy and bedisde nursing is a hard thankless job.

While I understand your concern and certainly see your frustration the hospital still needs to be paid. They are a business just like anything else. As far as a victims fund some states do have those funds available although not sure if it is for medical or direct compensation. But, those funds are provided by the taxpayers and I believe we are way over taxed in this country. One remedy available is to sue the attacker granted you probably will not receive much compensation but that will take care of any future money this fool gets.

I took a 5 credit combo organic/biochem class I think it was Chem 108 but definitely a lower level chem class and it helped me immensely during the first semester. I recommend that class and the 2 general chem classes should prepare you well enough. Now that being said some schools require upper level chem classes so you would need to check the school for the requirements. Good Luck, Hoop
