Does anybody know which book is the best study guide for the ASPAN (PACU) certification? Thanks.

Welcome to the site. You might want to post this question in the PACU forum.

Will move this to the PACU forum

Don't know where the PACU Forum is... but I'm both CPAN and CAPA and I used The Core Curriculum for Perianesthesia Nursing Practice by Litwack. The ASPAN/ABPANC site has a full list of references. Also there are practice test on the website, they are really helpful.

Best of Luck

I just passed my CPAN test. I used the core curriculum (Quinn and Schick) a little but found it extremely dry. Most of my study was with the Certification Review for Perianesthesia Nursing (Putrycus and Ross, 2008). I also bought and studied the 2010 ASPAN standards. Good luck!

The best resource that I used was Perianesthesia Nursing: A Critical Care Approach, by Cecil B. Drain and Jan Odom-Forren. (I used an earlier edition by Drain alone, but its the same book)
