Asheville VA Hospital

i have been using the bay pines va hospital and am thinking transfering to the asheville va hospital. i have been very happy with bay pines and was wondering if anyone can tell me anything about the asheville hospital?
the patient care? i am usually out of the hospital before the appointment time starts which is great. i am wondering how it is in theasheville va.

what abut the asheville hospital are you looking for? information for a nurse or information for a patient? the allnurses community is a community for nurses and student nurses and pre-student nurses about nursing, it is not necessarily a site to get a nurse's opinion on health care or facilities.

I used to work at the VA in Johson City, Tn. (which isn't very far from asheville). We would transfer our heart pts to Asheville. What sort of questions do you have? I might be able to help you with the general questions!

Hello! I also would like some info on the Asheville VA.. what are the nurse/pt ratios like (for say, the med/oncology floor)? pay info? etc?

I also have a question for the VA nurses. If you commute over an hour to work at the VA hospital do they have a contract hotel for you to sleep in between shifts? Also do you work 3- 12's or 4-10's or 5-8's and do they do a weekend Baylor? I really want to work for the VA since I am a vet myself and have over 3 years of civil service time already.
