Hi as a cna, we are been issued some paper in our hospital about union and none union membership, and to be honest with you, I have no an idea of this union of a thing and our hospital has been sending us a flyers to attend the meeting on the 14th of this July 2017 which is in the next 4 days to come and VOTE NO but I don't no anything about this organization the benefits and the none benefits, because if thy said that our money will be increased which sounds good but is still the same money and the same paycheck that thy will still be collecting there own money too so what is the need curse I'm totally confused about all this .. so please can some one please explain to me how been a member of the union works and none union membership thanks..

Take time to learn what a union is, advantages and disadvantages. You have a mind, educate yourself don't lets others others fill you with half truths

It's appalling that your employer is sending anti-union propaganda to their employees. They are hoping that everyone is an uninformed as you are about unions. Unions benefit employees. Voting no is a vote against yourself. There is a whole portion of Allnurses dedicated to union nursing--you could probably learn a lot there.
