Hi, I just wanted to start a conversation for the 2017 nursing applicants at Ualr. It's a long wait until April. We can keep each other updated during the wait.

Whouston, I don't know about the LPN to RN program. I would think if you have all your pre-reqs done (and working on History) and a 3.3 GPA, that you're probably looking good.

Hello,
i also applied at ualr for the accelerated program, my gpa is about 3.4, I am scared because I am taking some prenursing classes, like patho, professional nursing health assessment, I dropped patho tho, these classes are required to get into the nursing program at my present school and I don't know if ualr will accept these classes, I could careless if they don't transfer but does anybody have a similar experience
Off topic, but has anyone taken Statistics? Did you like it?
@rosagol -- I don't know if UALR has those classes or not. I'm sure they'll be beneficial to you though. Are you currently at UALR?
No I'm in Harding, but someone sent me an email today asking me if I am already at the Harding nursing program, so I explained to her that the classes are prerequisite classes, she hasn't responded back yet
Got my admissions letter today for the traditional program even though I applied for the accelerated program, I'm excited tho, y'all check you emails
