Dignity Health New Grad Hiring Process

U.S.A. Arizona

Hey,

I have an interview next week for a new grad position with Dignity Health Chandler-Regional. Even if I don't get the job I am excited to even get a chance to interview.

Anyway, anyone here know how long the hiring process is for Dignity Health new grad cohorts? I already took the math test and answered some interview style questions through email. I now have a panel interview set next week with 3 managers and the new grad trainer/manager I believe. How many round of interviews does Difnity Health home before deciding or is it a one and done?

I'm just curious if I should be waiting to hear about a job or preparing for a possible second interview after the first.

Thanks to to anyone who may have answers.

Yeah, I was also overwhelmed at first when they were explaining the process and the pages looked like a lot of questions.

What happened when you asked them to start over? Dis you start over just with that question or starting the whole interview?

yeah....preparations for interviews are always good but they ask it different way and it can catch us out of nowhere! I prepared for case scenarios and diseases and they didnt ask about those at all. Did they ask you? Also, how are you preparing for NCLEX?

I just restarted the question. I got nervous and talked myself into a hole. So I admitted I was nervous, apologized and asked to start the answer to that question over. It went ok from there.

Im just doing a lot of questions, and review content if I absolutely just dont remember it.

Im sure you did well! There was a lot of them so I was like...ohhh crap! I almost said Indidnt have an answer for one of the questions. Then they restated it and went deeper so I got to give them a situation and stuff. They were nice though!

Also, what school did you go to? Did you do Kaplan?

There was one I was stuck on for a minute or two before I could think of what I thought was a good answer. I thought they were all very nice too. It helped to calm me down.

Im not doing Kaplan. I'm using Saunders, elsevier adaptive quizzing, and uworld. I Graduated from Scottsdale Community College.

Hello ladies!! I hope both your interviews went well! I am actually looking at moving to Gilbert from Iowa as a new grad RN! I previously worked at Mercy Gilbert Med Center as a surgical tech so I am hoping I will be rehired! I was just wondering if you had any advice now that you have had interviews or any information about starting wages, etc? Thanks!!!

Oh thats good! I did kaplan and passed the first time in 75 questions. I just answered all their free questions. But I also answered a lot of saunders comrehensive book resource. I looked up anything that I forgot. Youll be good! Let me know how this interview gets and also the NCLEX! :)

Hello new friend! I live right by Mercy and have family members who work there! Some in OR too! Haha! Well, i heard that a new grad who was a CNA and has a BSN started at 26.80 at Mercy as a new grad recently.

Let me know if you hear anything else and how much is it in Iowa?

Well I actually have a position being held in our Neuro ICU for me pending boards on the 23rd. I only have my Associates degree but they start at $22/hour. My entire family is thinking of making a move down there so my son and I would be coming also, I'm just waiting to pass boards before applying for any positions because I figure it's kind of pointless until then since I can't actually go to the hospital for interview. However they did a phone interview for my surgical tech job so I am hoping they could arrange something like that also.

New grads move all over looking for jobs. I would imagine that many hospitals will let you phone interview if you explain that you are moving into town soon. You should start applying since phoenix metro area can take over a month at least for you to get interviewed then hired on anywhere. This way you can have a job waiting for you when you get here.

Oh I know I plan on applying as soon as I know I passed boards :) I figure by the time we have everything figured out, buy a house, and get moved it will be plenty of time before it will matter anyways

Hello,

How did you find out that Dignity Health was hiring new grads?

I guess I am late this time since the interview has been going.

Could you tell me where I can sign up for it for next time?

I appreciate your help.

Yes! It is only every few months they do it. You gotta look at dignity careers website.
