Has anyone heard of Arizona college? I was on the BON website earlier and noticed they have been added as a new nursing program in Vegas offering BSN . They opened in Sep 2015 anybody have any info on this school ? Obviously they're only provisionally approved but any info?)

Did you have any transfer courses? I wonder how many they'll take.. I already have a bachelors.. how long was the admission process? Did you take the teas or Hesi

yes I had transfer credits and I took the HESI. The admissions process was pretty smooth. If you have transfer credits get the unofficial(s) and they will get the official ones. I did a short essay as to why I wanted to be a nurse and why I chose AZ College and then they ask for your resume. I took a tour of the school, asked lots of questions and I got a run through of the courses I would have to take. My admissions advisor was very honest with with and then I had to speak to financial aid and that went smoothly as well. I love being in a small class.

And how long is the program normally and then how long or how short can it be with transfer classes? Is it in block schedule like one class at a time fast-paced or like a regular college were two or three classes at a time

you take 4 classes at a time. they are broke into sessions. first session is 8 weeks for the first two classes and then the second session is 8 weeks. it's a 3 yr program but can be shorten if you have transfer credits. I'm not sure how short it can be because of you have quite a few transfer credits then it won't be as long.

I'm taking the general education classes that I didn't have right now. If you have to take any gen ed classes then the next start is January 3rd. I would say call them and set up an appointment to speak to an admissions rep. The admissions rep I had was great and very helpful.

Don't waste ur money and time. Horrible place, unprofessional instructors who are not supportive and does their best to fail you. Nobody listen your concern. It is above 80,000$ and it is huge waste . I regret for my choice. You will say thank you to me later.

Its not a good school. They charge a lot. They fail you based on opinion if they dont like you. They retaliate against you. The staff will team up against the students and threaten them if they dont act according to how they want you to act. If you object to any of their decisions or ways then you will become a target and ousted from the program. I saw many students fail based on the opinion of the instructor. I observed the retaliation of the staff on the students for speaking out against an unprofessional staff member. They dont follow the rules that represent Arizona College but they enforce them along with their opinionated views on the students and the slightest act of disagreement will cause for the student to be targeted and ousted for reasonings of the instructor. There are no guidelines to follow they make their own rules. Its an awful school built on lies and deceit.
