I was just wondering how many of you in School has found a click and how many people are loners.. Do you think it is normal and ok to be a loner or do you feel that since you spend most of your time with the students that you have at least one person you can click with...

Yep
Well, I finally read this post, and would like to reply...
Like many of you, I am the older, returning student with children and a husband. I KNOW what I want now, and I work hard for it. I am new going in to the nursing program, and I think I MIGHT know one other person (out of 55) who is going. I haven't been in any cliques, although most people in my classes know who I am. I have made a REALLY GOOD friend, but she is not going on to the university. I don't like to study in groups, either...too much distraction, and I do fine on my own. Besides, I don't have the TIME with 3 kids and a husband!
I do hope to meet a few people, and become close...maybe not for study groups, who knows yet, but I will be with these people for the next 3 years, and it would be comforting to have a friend or two!! :kiss
