Hello everyone here in all-nurses.
I live here in NH starting my LNA Training in March 30th for 6-week.
I been told by an ex LNA that it require to have flu shots and few others shots to work.
Is it true.

I don't know any programs that require flu shots...my understanding is you can refuse the flu shot. I know you can refuse the Hep vaccine if you sign a waiver (at least in my nursing program, I've heard others you can't)...the rest I am not sure of, but I don't think they can refuse you if your objection is from a religious standpoint (you do not have to disclose what religion you are)...not completely sure on that though. I did not have any vaccines until I was almost 30, so there are ways around a lot of this.

I started a MSN program this past January and I had to be up to date on MMR, TB, Chicken Pox and Tetorifice. The Flu shot was optional but recommended.
