Are there more opportunities for BS nurses?

Published

I'm very much aware of the opportunities BS nurses have in nursing, but are there any opportunities for BS nurses out side of nursing? Are there any other professions that will take a nursing degree as an education requirement?

A bachelor's degree in anything opens doors to many places.

:yeahthat:

My cousin has a bachelor's in geology from UC Davis and works as a pharmaceutical drug rep (they make BANK...I use to work in a MD office and drug rep that use to be an FNP came in, I asked her why she changed jobs and she said because being a drug rep paid more than being an FNP!). Nursing is one of the few exceptions that having an AS degree can get you a good job...in our case...a nurisng job. In this day of age an AS isn't really worth much career wise.

Thank you so much. This is what I was looking for.
