Are there any nurses that completed the LPN-RN Excelsior program or perhaps did not complete it, what was your experience like? What are your thoughts

Currently taking FCCA... So, i'm not there yet but am well on my way. Very happy with the choice I made to do" Excelsior". My current employer could not accomodate me going back to traditional school full time and keep me in my current job title, and I could not take that pay cut right now. For me this was a good alternative. I have found the staff to be very informative, supportive and encouraging. On line study is not for everyone, and you must be organized and dedicated to your study time. You DO NOT need the assistance of any high priced learning modules (some of us have to learn the hard way). Excelsior will give you all you need. 101 study guides are inexpensive and provide great "additional" study material. Hope this helps you and good luck.

I am also doing my FCCA's currently but love the program, but to address your question I work with three nurses who graduated from Excelsior. They all had no problems with Boards or getting jobs! Hope that helps.
