I'm 7 months pregnant and looking for an at home job. I know there are a lot of options for RN's in this area, a lot of insurance companies hire them for "nurse advice" and "prior authorizations" etc. Does anyone know if LVN's can get hired??
I've been wondering the same thing... I'd like to get in to some kind of desk job nursing because I can't work full time as an LPN, as I'm a busy mom. I've been considering getting a medical coding certification to see if that might help me land an LPN office job/ work from home job.
Insurance companies frequently hire LVNs/LPNs for case management. Usually to do telephonic case management, however, you'd need years of case management experience first.
