I am confused because my school offers AP 1, but it does not specify wether it is lab and lecture, and I often see many people saying they got 2 different grades for lecture and lab. I was under the assumption that it is all one class? And how do I know if my college is offering the lab and lecture together in 1 course? Thank you.

Read the course description in the catalog and/or the class schedule. Some schools offer the lab and lecture as separate courses, while others have them combined, and some schools offer the courses presented both ways. If there is no mention of "lab" in the course description in the schedule, it is probably the lecture only version, because the lab and lecture components are generally offered at the same time. Another giveaway is the number of credit hours listed for the course. If it is only 3, for example, probably just the lecture portion. If it is 4 or 5, probably contains both combined.
Okay thank you. The class is 4 credits. but only says lecture, weird.
I would look at the descriptions in the college catalog to make sure that they also offer a lab. It is unusual that they would offer the lecture this term without also offering a lab to go with it. If you need the lab (and you probably do), you may want to look at another offering. Either this is a self-contained course that does not offer lab, or it includes lab (mention of lab in the description), or it is the lecture only course. You don't want to take the course only to find out that you need to take a different course later.
Just reread your reply. If you need lab, looks like this course is not for you, unless there is a separate lab that you can take later.
I looked at the course catalog, and it clearly states both lecture and lab. And I did more digging into this particular class and out of the required books one was for lab, by description. so I am thinking it is both. And the class says...lecture required, but nothing about lab. I am going to say it's safe to assume this class is both lab and lecture, by the books required for the class.
