What happens to your license if the school you previously attended shuts down?
Hmm and to think I thought she was the most knowledgeable one of them all.

What happens to your license if the school you previously attended shuts down?
Okay thank you. I had even asked one of my previous teachers and she said yes the bon could take your license away, I thought that sounded strange.

What happens to your license if the school you previously attended shuts down?
I guess that makes the most sense.

What happens to your license if the school you previously attended shuts down?
I made the ignorant decision to go to a for profit school to obtain my Lpn license in light of the recent ITT tech closing this has me thinking..what happens to my license if the school I graduated from closes it's doors? Does that mean I have to forfeit my license? Or will I be able to maintain my license and still practice? I have searched through this site and not found any definite answers. Someone please help 😀

GPA for ISU nursing program acceptance?
I agree it is very confusing, I am thinking of doing excelsior instead just because it is more drawn out then ISU.

Are lecture and lab 2 different things?
I looked at the course catalog, and it clearly states both lecture and lab. And I did more digging into this particular class and out of the required books one was for lab, by description. so I am thinking it is both. And the class says...lecture required, but nothing about lab. I am going to say it's safe to assume this class is both lab and lecture, by the books required for the class.

Are lecture and lab 2 different things?
Okay thank you. The class is 4 credits. but only says lecture, weird.

Are lecture and lab 2 different things?
I am confused because my school offers AP 1, but it does not specify wether it is lab and lecture, and I often see many people saying they got 2 different grades for lecture and lab. I was under the assumption that it is all one class? And how do I know if my college is offering the lab and lecture together in 1 course? Thank you.

How do LPN to RN prerequisites work?
Hi I plan on completing my LPN in June of next year. After that I will be moving to Ohio, I am currently trying to take pre reqs I need for the LPN to RN program in Ohio, but I have a few questions.... how do I know the prereqs will stay the same for the program in 2 years? What if they change the pre reqs while I'm currently trying to complete them? (meaning I'm taking intro to sociology at my local community college where I currently live now, for the LPN to RN program in Ohio but, what if the program in Ohio, decides that sociology is no longer a pre req, but for example they switch to Microbiology instead if that makes any sense) so basically I don't want to waste my time! And I don't want to put all of my eggs in one basket, so to speak, but all of the programs I am looking at do not have the same prereqs....not even close! I would like to move to Ohio already being accepted into an LPN to RN program. COTC to be exact! Oh, another question, it's a dumb question but I need to know! If I took principles of sociology, but they want intro to sociology, does the higher level class replace the lower level class? Thank you to anyone who can help me out!

Is this a doable thing?
Thank you. I saw my school on the list so I do believe they will honor the ACE credits. I will be receiving tutoring as well because I actually am no good at math, but I would really like to succeed, and start my core pre requisites as soon as possible! Thank you for your advice!

Is this a doable thing?
Okay so my local cc requires that I have taken a high school biology and chemistry before I can take AP 1. Well I never took a high school chemistry so I was thinking about taking an accelerated straighter line course in general chemistry so that I can get started in AP 1 and II do you think this is a good idea? and do you think that my school wold accept something like this? otherwise I would have to take CHM 1 at my local cc for a semester before I can get started in AP I....I'm just eager to start AP and get the ball rolling! Thank you to all who reply! (I tried asking admissions through e-mail, but got no reply...and my school is actually on the list for straighter line that accepts ACE credits!)

Nursing program preqs only high school courses
Okay so I will try not to make this a novel, but a local nursing school near me (that is accredited) only require high school courses as prereqs. Chemistry, Biology, Algebra 1 and Algebra II. And the TEAS V test. My high school grades were pretty embarrassing to say the least :/ and I never took a Chemistry. So basically now what I would like to do is take some online classes for Chem and Biology (maybe Algebra). My question is, would this be possible? And does anyone know of any schools that offer a chemistry completely online. And has anyone ever done something similar to this? Please help! Sorry if this is in the wrong place!

So there is actually a difference between ADN and AAS?
Okay, thank you. I guess I will just have to contact a counselor to see if, OU RN-BSN accepts A.A.S. degrees.
